Sprucing Up My Game Day Gear with Cricut!
It’s no secret that the Briscoe family is on constant rotation of sports all year round. Thomas and I have always been big baseball and football fans but now with kids, enjoying our fav events require a little more planning and A LOT more stuff. Snacks on snacks, on snacks. If you know, you know!
That’s why I always have extra tote bags laying around to help keep me organized. This summer, though, I decided I wanted to spruce up my tote bags in such a simple and cute way using my Circuit machine.
One of the things I love most about Cricut is their endless supply of DIY materials that make it easy for me to decorate virtually anything and make it my own. Usually, I use my Circuit software to design what I’d like to use for my DIY project, but this time, I ordered the materials directly from cricut.com and it was so incredibly easy to use and apply!
I wanted my tote bag to be ready for any sporting event, so I snagged this adorable “Game Day” decal to give my boring ‘ol mom bag a fresh new look to throw all boy’s game day must haves and have everything in one place.
I used my Cricut EasyPress to heat press the vinyl onto the tote bag. It’s super easy. The EasyPress even has a timer to help you make the new shirts perfectly without over or under pressing the vinyl. Let it cool then peel! Ta-Da! My new tote bag is ready for any game day event!
The Explore Air 2 is a crafting machine for so many different types of crafts! The Cricut is super versatile, fun to use and it can help you make virtually any craft or DIY project.
If you don’t have a Cricut machine yet, here are something you can expect in your new package
Instruction manual.
Cricut cutting mat.
Cutting blade (pre-installed)
Cricut Explore Air 2

Don’t forget to also snag your cutting mat! Your cutting mat is probably one of the most important accessory that you’ll use – it’s how we’ll load most material into our machine. It’s sticky on one side so that our material is held securely in place while it’s being cut, scored, or inked.
The possibilities for using your machine are virtually endless worth every penny! From matching t-shirts for the boys, Christmas presents, spruced up tote bags and more — owning your own Cricut is an investment you won’t regret!
Learning to use my machine was so easy and there are endless tutorials and help available on the internet and on the Cricut website! Dig in and let me know what you think!
