For The Love of Crafting!

Asking a serious “mom” question here. Is there anything cuter than matching big and little brother T-shirts for a family gathering? The answer is, I think not!

[Ad] We’re so excited to have some family over in the next couple of weeks for our annual Back to School Briscoe Bash and celebrating the boy’s birthdays! And if you’re anything like me, hosting parties is one of your favorite things!

Sebastian turns three years old on August 31 and Elijah turns a year old on August 22. I honestly can’t even believe how fast my boys are growing up. This summer we’ve had so much fun spending time together, traveling, and sharing with you all how we use our Cricut to personalize everything from Bash Baseball T-shirts, Social Mamas Tribe goodies and matching shirts for the boys.

For our family cookout, I’m super excited to also be making personalized cups for our guests with our Cricut Explore Air 2. Just call me hostess with the mostess!

For Sebastian and Elijah, we made them matching Big Brother and Little Brother shirts to wear for all the cuteness in family picture moments.

Here’s a quick step by step on how we did it!

  • I design my graphic myself on Canva, but Cricut has some amazing options and designs already in their Design Studio software. We are using the Design Software to make graphics for the BBQ cups.

  • Once I have my graphics uploaded to the design studio, I prep my supplies, my machine and get my heat press ready.

  • Once my Explore Air 2 cuts out my design, We use the BrightPad to help with the weeding! It’s a pad that lights up and helps make it so easy and fast to use the weeding tools to prep the vinyl.

  • Once our graphic vinyl is ready, we use the Cricut EasyPress to heat press the vinyl onto the shirts. It’s super easy. The EasyPress even has a timer to help you make the new shirts perfectly without over or under pressing the vinyl.

  • Let it cool then peel! Ta-Da! The best matching t-shirts for our next family event

The Explore Air 2 is a crafting machine for so many different types of crafts! The Cricut is super versatile, fun to use and it can help you make virtually any craft or DIY project. Yes, even invitations to your next family event, BBQ or birthday (which I plan on doing as well!)
