Someone thinks you’re gorgeous…
Out of pure happenstance I found myself having a lot of the same conversation with my clients (and myself) this week. The same heartbreaking conversations of compassion and “𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐟’𝐬” and “𝐢𝐟 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲”.
In motherhood, in holidays, in social media analytics— and I’ve basically made it second nature to talk you off the ledge of quitting because someone else has more followers, more likes, a bigger Christmas tree and a smaller bounce back postpartum figure.
Today though, after an incredibly emotional week, I have a message for you.
You’re human. And I’m not here to give you a clichè “count your blessings” speech. But I will say this.
Someone thinks you are 𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬.
Someone thinks your house is 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭.
Someone wishes they had 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 follower count.
Someone 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐬 watching your babies grow.
Someone 𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐬 your marriage.
Someone looks up to 𝐘𝐎𝐔.
Someone admires 𝐘𝐎𝐔.
Who am I kiddin. As much as I hope this helps someone else... This one’s for you, Pam. I’m working on being better about being that someone for 𝐲𝐨𝐮.
